Lizzie lewis - FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & BOARD MEMBER

After volunteering and fostering with Los Angeles Animals Services for several years, Lizzie decided she wanted a more hands-on way to help other shelter animals, fosters parents and adopters. She started the rescue in 2016 and hasn't looked back.

On top of running the rescue, Lizzie worked in the legal field for 30 years until she decided to focus on running Kitty of Angels. She and her husband Ryan have fostered over 200 kittens which their resident cats, Ted and Hobo Joe, love to mother (and occasionally hiss at).
