Below are pictures of our adoptable felines. If you’re smitten with a cat or kitten, please proceed to our online application. Be aware that the adoptable age for kittens is 8 weeks and we won't review adoption applications for kittens until they are 7 weeks old.
Our adoption fees are $100 for adult cats (6 months+) and $150 for kittens ($250 for a pair). These fees cover essential services like vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and spay/neuter surgeries.
With spay/neuter appointments in high demand, animals listed as not being spayed/neutered yet are available for preadoption. They will be allowed to go to their adopted homes at 8 weeks of age on a foster-to-adopt basis, where you will be required to bring the kitten to a spay/neuter surgery appointment scheduled through us. After the surgery is completed, the adoption will be finalized.
Thank you for choosing Kitty of Angels as your go-to cat rescue organization!
1. Why is Kitty of Angels the top choice for helping homeless cats and kittens in Los Angeles?
Kitty of Angels, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is dedicated to rescuing homeless cats and kittens in Los Angeles. We prioritize at-risk animals, particularly those facing euthanasia in city shelters, and place them in foster homes until they're adopted. In addition to fostering, we collaborate with shelters and engage in community outreach. As a leading LA cat rescue group, we're committed to sharing every step of our journey with our supporters, ensuring transparency and trust.
2. Why should I consider adopting a rescue cat or kitten instead of choosing a cat breeder or free kitten from the classifieds?
Rather than looking for cats and kittens for sale or choosing a free kitten listing, consider the compassionate choice: adopt a rescue cat or kitten near you! Adoption offers numerous benefits, including saving a life, supporting rescue efforts, and providing a loving home to an animal in need. Furthermore, our rescue cats come with a complete care package, which outshines alternatives like free kitten listings and cat breeders.
3. Does Kitty of Angels operate a physical cat rescue shelter?
Although we don't operate a physical cat rescue shelter, our foster-to-adopt program plays a crucial role in providing shelter and care for homeless cats and kittens. This approach allows us to focus on rescuing and rehoming cats in need.
